Josh Sell

Josh is the chief product officer at Tinder, where he oversees all facets of the product including product innovation, Trust & Safety and growth. Prior to Tinder, Josh was the GM of Mobile at NCSOFT, a global leader in online games. Josh launched and revitalized various franchises at global gaming companies including Glu Mobile and Entertainment, Aeria Games, and King, the creator of the Candy Crush Saga. 

As head of King’s London studio, he oversaw the Farm Heroes franchise, spearheaded the studio’s restructure, and led a team of nearly 150 in various departments including QA, Engineering, Design, UX, Production, Analytics, and Product Management. In his role as SVP, Studios at Glu Mobile, he oversaw a team of 300 across Product, Design and Engineering. While there, Josh was responsible for multiple hit titles including Deer Hunter 2014, Dino Hunter, Cooking Dash, Kim Kardashian: Hollywood, and MLB Tap Sports Baseball. 

One of Josh’s Product Management north stars is retention first, and monetization second because he believes we should build for the long-term, not the short-term. He has a B.S. in Management Information Systems from West Virginia University and lives in Bellevue, Washington.
