Jim Lanzone is the Chief Executive Officer of Tinder, the world’s most popular app for meeting new people. Tinder has been downloaded more than 400 million times and is responsible for more than 55 billion matches worldwide. Previously, Jim was the Chief Digital Officer of CBS Corporation and President and Chief Executive Officer of CBS Interactive, a top 10 consumer Internet property with 300+ million users worldwide. Jim led the digital transformation of CBS Corporation, drove CBS Interactive to record financial and audience growth, and led the creation, launch and growth of streaming services CBS All Access, CBSN and CBS Sports HQ.
Jim joined CBS Interactive in 2011 after its acquisition of Clicker Media, an Internet video search and programming guide, where he was Founder and Chief Executive Officer. Jim previously served as Chief Executive Officer of Ask.com (formerly Ask Jeeves), a division of IAC/InterActiveCorp.
Jim joined Tinder from Benchmark Capital where he was Executive-in-Residence. Jim resides in Northern California with his wife and three children. He holds a B.A. from UCLA and a J.D./M.B.A. from Emory University.
